I have finally completed my crochet sunflower phone bag, and I couldn’t be more excited to tell you all about it. This project has not only taught me a valuable skill but has also opened the door to the wonderful world of crochet!
If you’re thinking of taking up crochet, i recommend starting with Granny Squares. I still struggle with the different names for UK and US stitches when watching YouTube videos! I’m getting there though!
I love seeing a seemingly chaotic tangle of yarn transform into a neat and orderly pattern. It’s encouragingly good for the soul.
When I used to run, there’s a term we’d use called active rest. On a long run it’s when you’ve run up a hill or sprinted. Then, you jog down hill or take a slower pace, taking it easy.
I truly recommend crochet for active rest.
